David De Gea says there is not one particular lesson he has learnt in his time as a Red so far which has helped him grow as a player and person, but the experience as a whole.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper has enjoyed a year to remember so far, with a Barclays Premier League title medal, a place in the 2012/13 PFA Team of the Year and a tournament victory with Spain’s Under-21s at the European Championships all achieved in 2013.
De Gea says:
“It’s more about all the things you learn rather than one individual thing. It’s an on-going process as well, especially when you come to a club from another country. The whole thing is a great experience.”“The support I have had from everyone at the club has been fantastic. First of all you have to have the belief in yourself and self-confidence, but that is enhanced once your team-mates and people within the club show their confidence in you and their support."
