Sir Alex reportedly will receive a special award next month, award the Freedom of the Borough of Trafford is a form of appreciation for his successful handling of Manchester United for more than 26 years.
With Manchester United, Sir Alex Ferguson won 13 league titles and two Champions League trophies. This award is an award given by the council Traford. Previously, Sir Alex Ferguson ever get award the Freedom of the City of Aberdeen.
"I'm happy to get respect from Trafford council," said Sir Alex Ferguson.
"When I first arrived at Old Trafford in 1986, I do not kepikiran there will be a long journey that awaits me. More than a quarter of a century later, received this award and to be a part of Trafford involving my name is remarkable.".
Not only the award, Ferguson will also be honored in particular by providing "street name" near Old Trafford as the "Street of Sir Alex Ferguson".
