Manchester United reportedly has set up a new deal for striker Wayne Rooney. Rooney's current contract will expire in 2015, Manchester United will plan for long-term lock Wayne Rooney.
Rooney has nine seasons uniformed Manchester United, and devotion that is likely to continue. According to a source close to the club and told The Sunday Telegraph, a new contract will be awarded to Rooney the next few weeks.
"The manager and coaching staff have created a new environment," the source said.
"There is no pressure to talk about a new contract, but it can be said that, in January, there will be talks. We'll lock [Rooney], if necessary, until at the age of 30."
