Darren Fletcher - Fletcher said : "When we kick off, Wayne Rooney would be a very fantastic player. Rooney is a great player and a valuable asset for the team. And I think playing for Manchester United is a pride in itself."Rooney was very disappointing when playing in South Africa, and make the UK should be excluded when it defeated Germany 4-1. But Rooney's Back shone in the match when Manchester United's Community Shield against Chelsea that eventually United's 3-1.
Fletcher said: "We all know the game of Rooney and he knows us. We have been playing together and trained together for a long time. Although now Rooney is associated with some cases but I'm sure it does not affect his performance in the field."
and it proved when Rooney returned to play with English and contributed a goal for England 3-1 victory over Switzerland in Euro 2012 Qualifier.

Born 1 February 1984 in Dalkeith, Scotland. He is a Scottish footballer who plays for Premier League club Manchester United. A product of United's youth academy, Fletcher initially struggled to break into the first team but now regularly features in the midfield. He usually plays in central midfield or right midfield but can provide cover for the defence as well.
Fletcher has been at Manchester United for his whole career coming up from the youth team. Fletcher joined Manchester United as a trainee in July 2000 and he signed a professional contract in February 2001. He was initially seen as a right midfielder in the David Beckham mould and was tipped by many to break into the first team with ease and stay there for many years to come. His first few seasons at the club, however, were marred by injury, and as he developed came to be viewed more as a central midfielder.
In the 2007–08 season, with the further arrival at the club of playmakers Owen Hargreaves and Anderson and winger Nani, Fletcher played even less than during the previous season, and was even rumoured at one time to want to leave the club out of displeasure at not playing enough. Indeed, as before, Ferguson preferred Carrick, Scholes, Giggs and Ronaldo to him in midfield, and he even played less than the new arrivals
The 2009–10 season has seen Fletcher consolidate his place in the heart of the United midfield, starting all the important games for United.

Many of the players have spent this week at Carrington undergoing a series of tests after an eight-week summer break. Fletcher’s enjoyed being back at work, but it's the trip to North America he’s most excited about. The Reds will begin the tour with a training camp in Chicago before playing games in Toronto, Philadelphia, Kansas City and Houston.
“It’s a great tour in America,” Darren told MUTV. “We’ve not been there in a while. And although three weeks is going to be a long time to be away, there’ll be some good games. Personally, playing against Celtic [in Toronto] will be interesting as I’ll be up against a few of my Scottish team-mates. But I'm looking forward to it all really.”
The 26 year-old knows the coaching staff will work the players hard in America, but hopes he’ll also have the chance to explore his surroundings.
“There won't be thousands of fans outside the hotel so maybe the lads will be able to get into the cities and wander about and take in a few sights," Fletcher added. "[Pre-season] is important business in terms of getting fit for the start of the season, but there will be some time for relaxation, which the lads will enjoy.”
