Michael Carrick Injury - Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that Michael Carrick Achilles tendon injury that sidelined him for three weeks. Carrick showed the injury when he played with england team against Switzerland at Euro 2012 qualified. Meanwhile, Rio Ferdinand could have played, after experiencing a 2 month injury.
"We've had a little setback with Michael Carrick out for three weeks. The Achilles problem," said Alex Ferguson.
"He saw a specialist and injected. Anderson came off with last night who did something does not mean the job but will not be knocked back for a long time. Everyone is fit.
"Hopefully Carrick can recover quickly and back into the Man United squad," said Ferguson.
